Pathways to Integration is a project aiming to provide a platform for young refugees and migrants in Europe. Through a series of focus groups held in Iceland, Finland, and Austria, our objective is to create a safe space for these marginalized youths to share their experiences, identify common grievances, find solutions, and promote their resilience. This project emerged from the need for increased social inclusion and intercultural dialogue.
Our project seeks to empower young refugees and migrants in Europe by providing a platform for them to voice their experiences, ideas, and needs. By fostering social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and resilience, we aim to create a more just and equitable society. Through the mutual benefit of all involved parties, we aspire to make a positive impact on the lives of marginalized youths and promote positive change in European communities.
The project’s findings will be disseminated to the broader community and the organizations involved, raising awareness about the challenges faced by immigrant-backgrounded people. This can lead to further actions and opportunities for positive change. The skills and experience gained by the youth participants can also be utilized to pursue their academic or professional goals, creating a lasting impact beyond the project’s lifetime.
