SKY Omena Project took place in Tampere, too, this year 2021 Summer.
With the help of a family friend we reached out to Noora who has apple trees infront of her house and picked around 50 kgs of apple.
Some 5 kg was given to the landlord with a pack of coffee and explained to her about our project. She seemed quite understanding the issue.We thanked her for her contribution. We have visited 21 different families and distributed the apples to them.
After that we asked the recipients to write down a thanking message to the contributor and shared those nice messages with the contributor and the person who referred us to her.
They were very happy and Noora was extending some more trees and apples to us when she saw that the project really matters for some people.
